The Solera Blanc de Blancs cuvée from Maison A. Bergère is a blend of the 2019 harvest with a perpetual reserve that began in 2013. The solera retains great freshness as it combines 50% of the year’s wine and 50% of the previous harvests.
This cuvee contains 100% of Chardonnay from the terroirs of the Petit Morin Valley with the villages of Fèrebrianges, Etoges and Congy as well as that of Sezannais. These plots are made of limestone that benefits from different exposure giving a deep expression of the terroir.
The vinification and aging on lees are carried out in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats as well as in 228-liter barrels.
This Solera cuvee reveals a generous nose with beautiful floral scents. The palate is creamy and offers a beautiful structure with notes of nectarines and white peaches.
