Description:
60/40 Pinot Noir/ Chardonnay, 7g/l. Partial oak fermentation has given this wine a fabulous structure playing on the orange fruits interlaced with some floral notes. The wine shows remarkable finesse and length.
Winemaker:
When we first encountered Richard's Champagne, we were completely blown away by his Melle Jeanne, (at the time the 2012 vintage). He works with 13 hectares in and around Balnot sur Laignes. He works with oak and likes to partially block malolactic to create bright, exotic wines.
