Description:
The Champagne Brut Nature Cuvée La Pucelle by Perseval-Farge is composed of 100% Pinot Noir from the vineyards aged over 30 of the single plot "La Pucelle" of the Premier Cru village of Chamery, in the Montagne de Reims.
This Blanc de Noirs is composed of an assemblage of two vintages, part of which is vinified in stainless steel tanks and 69% in oak barrels, with partial malolactic fermentation. No dosage is added - making it a Brut Nature.
A prestigious label of the Domaine Perseval-Farge, this Cuvée is the perfect synthesis of the great level of expressiveness of the Chamery Pinot Noir, and of its single lieu-dit.
Aromas of white and yellow fruits, citrus fruits, candied peel and almonds enrich its aromatic bouquet. The mouth is elegant, dry, mineral and great drink, with a long and changing finish over time.
A Champagne to accompany delicious and rich dinners: excellent in combination with raw fish or even a first course with seafood or scampi.
Winemaker:
Perseval-Farge was built in 1808 in Chamery, a Premier Cru village in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. Today, the 4 hectare Domaine is run by the fifth generation - Isabelle and Benoist Perseval - who continue to preserve the important identity and family heritage. Since 1990, 6 different lieux-dits have been used in the vineyard for integrated viticulture, certified "Haute Valeur Environnemental" for its commitment to the use of products and production processes that respect the environment.
The vinification and aging of all or part of the wines takes place in wooden barrels with assemblages of at least 40% of "vin de réserve" and aging time on its yeasts of not less than 5 years for the "sans année" and beyond for all vintage.
Exciting Champagnes, of a natural profile, elaborated with real energy and great freshness, Champagnes decidedly rich, vinous, healthy, balanced, exciting and fascinating!
